Introduction to Planning an Event
The online course provides you with key information and processes for planning events, we take you through the initial steps you should take when thinking about planning an event, how to put together planning documents and how to successfully create and run an event.
Enrolment in this course gives you access to the online course material, you will still be able to access the course once you have completed the course, in addition to the online material we also encourage note taking as you study to help you retain the information in this course, this can be in any form either using computer programmes or an old fashioned notebook, please use whichever you prefer. Note taking can take many forms, this can be as drawings or images, bullet points, or a brief outline of the topic. There are many options so feel free to search online for different ways to take notes and find the option thats works best for you.
Instructions on how to navigate our online courses, this course has been designed to be broken down into lessons and topics for easy navigation. Once you have clicked on the course you wish to study, this will bring you to the course home page, on this page you will see all the lessons and topics within those lessons, start first by selecting the first lesson at the top of the lesson list, this will bring up a brief overview and the topics contained in this lesson, you can then select each topic to study. You can revisit the topic at any time by clicking on the topic or lesson title on the left of the page (or drop down menu if you are on a mobile device). Some of our courses also include quiz’s on topics or lessons, these are to help solidify you knowledge of the topic and can be retaken at any time. These quiz are not marked as assessments on the course. All your enrolled courses are also available to access from the My Account page which can be accessed in the Course Menu at the bottom of the page.
