Event Contracts, Negotiations and Sales



When working in events management you will have to develop a range of skills for planning and running events, one of those skills is often overlooked, Negotiating Contracts and Services. You will come across many different types of contracts and service agreements you will use for events and it’s important that you not only understand what you are booking but also how you negotiate costs with suppliers and just as importantly when not to.  This course takes you through what you should be considering when you are negotiating and handling contracts along with understanding different types of sales for your event, this is when you have an event that needs to create a revenue to cover costs and make a profit. You may not always be responsible for sales of the event however it’s important to understand the cost of the sponsorship packages in relation to the sales for the event and how to create attractive sponsors and event partner packages for the event.
